The Day After

What a turkey day!!!  Like the rest of the nation we ate too much and drank just about the correct amount of adult beverage.  Cinderella and I went to our baby's house and had a great time.  We are going to Sun Valley tomorrow and ski for the day and head home Sunday PM.  Today we are going on a wine tour put together by Diane.  I'm sure there is room for a few more.  While at Alex's yesterday I noticed the house across the street had been sold which is nice.  The only problem is it got sold to a so-called non- profit for $40,000 under the asking price!  Do you smell a scam here?  They appear to be preparing the house for a flip.  I wonder what the managers / owners of this scam machine take out for "management"??  In my opinion and only my opinion if it doesn't seem right there is a smell there.

I just had a call from a "concerned" neighbor next to the home I manage at 1213 N 16th.  He wanted to make sure I selected the best tenant possible.  I think what I try to do is select the biggest scum bag and hope he pays some rent.   What does he think we try to do?  How rude of him.  We are going to select the best possible tenants possible with substantial money in reserve.  I have made mistakes before and I will make mistakes in the future.  It is not in our best interest to blow it but it does happen.  Don't call a property manager and rub a less than acceptable tenant in his/her face.  Believe me they are aware of the situation and are attempting to rectify it.

Things seem to be moving as fast .  I'm in the mood for buying some income property.  Lenders are actually starting to market their loan packages.  I have heard of First time Buyers having the ability to purchase their first home with as little as $1,000 down.  Shades of years gone by!!  If you know some first time Buyers send them our way.  This is a great time to enter the Real estate market.  How about construction loans with a ONE- TIME CLOSE?  There is no excuse for sitting on the sidelines any more.  Get out there and make it happen. 

Our December General Meeting will be on December 2nd at 6 PM at Stewart Title on River Street backside of Cotton Wood Grill.  The program is going to be packed so arrive early.  You may of course bring an adult beverage and a snack to share.  We have time to assist you with a sale  or purchase.  Put our experience to work for you.

On a personal note my Parkinson's is under control.  Cindy is the best care giver alive.  It is a ME disease.  I have to be very careful not to think the world revolves around me.  I happen to have an inconvenience but surely not a handicap.  Thanks  for all the good wishes.  Happy Hollidays

Our November General Meeting Went just swell!  We have moved to our new location at Stewart Title on River St.  My goal in 2015 is to put together a group of like minded investors  that would be interested in purchasing homes and remodeling and flipping  them.  We are going to enter a wonderful market with lots of opportunities.  If you are interested in joining up with the new group come to the next General Meeting.  We will discuss the formation of the group and begin to put together the rules and regulations.  We don't know if we are going to formulate the group with three people or Twenty.  We are totally open to the interests of prospective members.  This is exciting stuff!

On that same note we have just completed a remodel at 3014 Hester.  It is a 4 Bedroom 2 full bath  almost 1800 SF home. The entire main level has Laminate Flooring.  The Kitchen cabinates have been refinished and  ceramic tile installed on the decks.  The entire yard has new turf.  We will have a party Friday atter 5 PM.  There will be Champagne Bud Lite and wine and some bites to munch on.  If you would like to bring an adult beverage or something to munch on please do so!  DIRECTIONS: West on State Street  South on Whitewater  East on Stewart, North on Vail,  Park and come in and PARTY.

BREIC Boise Real Estate Investment Club

Hello Friends

Things are crazy now!  Lots of interest and inquiries.  The scuttle buzz out there  is that there are lots of distressed properties ready to hit the market.  The lenders have been holding back inventory.  There is going to be a flood and we are going to have our snorkels on.  The Mike Dietz  team is gearing up and fine tuning our prospecting plan to generate many properties  that our clients can jump on.  Sign up as a client of the Mike Dietz Real Estate Team and you will get first shot at purchasing homes that we get under contract. 

Summer is over and we are back to Stewart Title Except the location has  changed.  We are meeting as of October 7th at Stewart on River St next to Cottonwood.  Same time 6 PM.  We have been meeting for almost 14 years. Wow a busy week!  My Rental house on 3014 Hester was trashed by renters.  I'm going to sell it when we get it all stiched up.  So if you want a nice remodeled home in the South of State off 27th North End it should come in at $185,000.  If you want to buy it as it sits you can have it for $150,000.  You would have to tell me by Monday as we are going to order all the supplies to transform the home from oblivion to excellence.  We are going to come in out of the cold in October.  We will  meet at Stewart Title on River Street next to Cottonwood.  So don't forget the first Tues in October at 6 PM.  The worlds best Title person Stephanie Coffey has made all the arrangements for us.  You DO have a choice when you close a transaction.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone that took the summer off.  The rumors appear to be true that I am going to have a hole drilled in my head.  I told the Doctor they wouldn't find anything so we will wait and see.  Parkinsons patients of the world unite!  Come see me at my open house on Sunday.

We had a great general meeting Tuesday evening.  We had dogs and poo poos and red and white wine and wwe solved all the problems with Real Estate Investing for future generations to come!  In my opinion the Boise Real Estate Investment Club is a fantastic pace to exchange ideas gain knowledge meet people develop life long relationships.  We walked a few blocks during the meeting and visited a very recently remodeled home.  It was fantastic!  It should sell quickly.  Our meetings are fun and enjoyable.  We usually charge $10 per meeting or $100 a year.  I got a little carried away on my last few blogs.  I did not have any intention of offending anyone.  I just want people to be successful.  Get involved with the group.  Transfer your License to WendyWorks Realty if you are a Realtor and you would like to be part of the club.  The only Realtors allowed are members of WendyWorks Realty.  They put up with us and keep us on the straight and narrow.  Notify me of any suggestions  that you would like to see happen with the Club.

I got cut off  from my last entry.  My main point was to get off your fat ass and make it happen..  If you just lack the  confidence to pull the trigger then spend the  nest few days with me and observe me making decisions every few minutes.  We have had speakers that charge several hundred $$$$ to spend the day with them.  I do not charge you a thin dime!!!!!!!!!!!!  You have the opportunity of your lifetime to get off the couch and become totally financially  independent.  I'm not going too be around that much longer.  I have several things wrong with this failing body.  You won't have me to pass on my 40 years of buying and selling Real Estate much longer.  Get your bananas to our next meeting and  tie your financial future to following the Mike Dietz investment plan.  You have to be activley seeking Real estate  opportunities to succeed.   I won't think any l;ess of you if you just just sit on your butt and eat my poo poos.  Just remember  you had a chance to work work with someone who did it on his own developed a system and laughed at the ass holes that try to make it a mystery.

BREIC Mike Dietz Sales Team

Hi All,

Great summer.  A bit hot at first but now it is settling in for some very comfortable temps.  We have our second to last summer meeting at the Firehouse the first Tuesday of September.  Then we will go back to Stewart Title or find another spot if they don't want us!  There are still plenty of NOD notices to go around.  They are getting tougher and tougher to process.  We have a great pasrtnership with Alliance Title and the staff at Wendy Works.  Eric could use some good quality leads so please keep your es open and your ears tuned into Real Estate.  Robby is working quite a few hours at the restaurant but he still has time for property managment and selling houses!  Bob moved on to greener pastures but we still find time for a bit of colaberation.    Andrea is now a Californian whhile her hussband completes a contract in "The Big Valley"
Let's buy and sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Cid and I took a trip to Crescent Lake in Central Oregon this week.  Oregon has beccome some messed up state.  The powers that be encoursage one to speed as they have the speed limit set to 55mph.  This is the state that championed the voter initive.  Why don't thte people of my Birth state get off their butts and  aim a foot at the crouch of the insurance companies and the so called representatives?????   Set the speed limit set it right and enforce the law.  Grrrr

Good News!!!!!!!!!!!!! BREIC

It would seam that the Congress has extended the forgiveness portion of the national short sale delima.  The Mike Dietz Team is all over it!  We are going to be a household name when related to assisting homeowners with distressed housing.   We have set a meeting for Thursday at 1 PM at Wendy Works HQ.  Anyone interested may attend.  This is going to be a mastermind.  The theme is how do we make contact and assist the homeowners in the best possible way.  I'm sure several over the coming months will amount to us helping out.  I Personally think our greatest reward will come from those that generate good will and serving those that need champions.  See you tomorrow

BREIC monthly meeting August 5th

Investors of the World!!!!

Meetings have been pretty tight this summer.  Don't let the season go by missing out on BBQ and discussion on investing.  During these warm evenings we meet at the Old Firehouse.  The meetings start at 6 PM and go to about 7 30 PM.  We will be discussing Appraisals at next months meeting.  The communication has been taken out of appraisals.  The only time we have to pounce on the appraiser is when they call to schedule their trip to the house.  It can be a tricky situation as you might imagine.  We do not have much recourse when they bring in the value off our own market analysis.  Come to the meeting express your opinion and learn from other investors in the group. 

Things have sure picked up.  The market still has its ups and  downs but it is definitely on the upward tide.  NOD possibilities  are still there but fewer to go after.  There is a huge backlog of cases to market to.  I'm not against teaming up with investors.  There is plenty of business to go around.  If you need to find some inventory for your business or add to your rental fleet or you are a Flip Machine, we can team up with you.  We have a life time of experience to offer.  I personally have been investing in real estate for 40 years.

breic catfish time

The Real Estate market is indeed hot and in high gear!  I held a Wendy Works home open Saturday located in Harris Ranch.  There were Buyers coming out of the wood work!  I met Buyers that were first timers, empty nesters, move uppers, and yes even some Investors.  One husband and wife in particular were looking for a home that they will finance for a person they will lease to.  How exciting.  It has me all warm and fuzzy.  The Market is HOT.  If you haven't jumped in now is the time to call the Mike Dietz Team and as Eric Dunn says Get 'er Dunn partner.  Let us help you put together a workable plan and help you plan for the future of your family.
 
Tomorrow is our July General Meeting.  Show up about 6:00 to 6:30 PM at 1011 West Williams at the west corner of Boise and Broadway in the "Old Firehouse". We will throw something on the BBQ and have some Adult beverage and discuss the RE Market in all its glory.  Robby will talk about Property Management and opportunities that exist in that direction.  It will be a lot of fun and educational too.  A mix of social and work.  Is that not just SWELL?

Tuesday at 6+ PM we will have our monthly meeting at 1011 W Williams.  It will be a BBQ and networking and speakers.  The market has heated up and deals are available to be developed. BREIC Mike Dietz Real Estate Team Monthly General Meeting

BREIC Monthly meeting April 1st 6 PM 1011 W Williams

HI all,
 
Things are heating up in Real Estateville. If you would like to pound the pavement and knock on some doors with me concerning NOD notices just sign up at the meeting tomorrow night.  I generally go out in the afternoons for two hours at a pop.  Our meeting will be at the Firehouse 1011 W Williams at the west corner of Boise and Broadway where Williams dead ends.  We will meet at 6 PM.  Our space is smaller but we plan on having fun.  We will pop a cork or two and munch on some delectable delights.  Feel free to bring a libation or two.  We plan on making the event a social get together as well as our educational meeting.  The main reason for the move to our building is that I start to fade in the evening and this way I can grab a ride home or cool it  in the office.  My Parkinson's is under control with the fantastic care of my Doctor Irwin Sackman and my movement disorder Doctor Lauren Seeberger.  After almost fourteen years we need a change!  See you tomorrow night...............................  Our members and our friends will mesh brilliantly.

We are going to shake things up a bit starting April 1st.  We are going to have our General meeting at the Firehouse 1011 W Williams at the West corner of Boise Ave and Broadway.  Connie Rexroad Who has the Barber Shop next to our office has agreed to let us use her space once a month on the first Tuesday at 6 PM.  So if you need a haircut call Connie and as Eric would say Get it Dunn!!  890-2938  We are hoping to use the time as a social event as well as the monthly BREIC meeting.  We will start it out with at least a bottle of wine and a tasty delight.  If anyone wants to bring something to share that will be great.  Just to make sure we have enough chairs you might throw in a folding chair or two.  Our format will be the same as before.  It will be a bit more casual and hopefully just as interesting.  Many thanks to Stewart Title for supporting our local Investment Club.  We will see you on the First................................  It will be a great time.

BREIC Vendor Fair 3-4-14

The next meeting is our Vendor Fair.  The location is Stewart Title on Emerald just West of Maple Grove.  The meeting starts at 6 PM.  We will each have the opportunity to announce our own needs and wants and then we will have the Vendors introduce themselves.  Once they have finished the remainder of the meeting will be spent one on one communicating and determining if a few of the vendors will fit into your Real Estate investment team.  This has to be one of the most exciting meetings of the year!

BREIC What a market!!!!!!!!!

Things are cooking along.  Business is flying by like a rocket!  There are still lots of distressed home opportunities as well as some good plain old bargains.  The Mike Dietz Team is actively looking for Sellers that will need to sell short to avoid a foreclosure.  We will need to partner with an investor to submit their offer with our package.  Butch and Kevin have done a few, the price became a bit too expensive but I'm sure we will put together a few more.  There is plenty out there for everyone. 

The next meeting is  the 4th of February at 6 PM at Stewart title on Emerald just west of the corner of Emerald and Maple Grove.  We always meet the first Tuesday of the month at 6 PM.  I hope no one objects but I started bringing a bottle of wine to the meetings  so we could sample a delectable delight.  We need to enjoy while we learn and network.  We have been meeting about 12 years.  I don't know that we ever missed a first Tuesday.
