It would seem like now is the time to break back into the Holding market.  We would suggest using some creative financing.  The first thing to do is determine what the seller needs and build your offer around those needs.Talk to the team and let's get rock 'in and Roll 'in.  Our next meeting is November 6th at 1099 S Wells in the Silvercreek training room.  Some people say the best thing about the meetings is the delectable delights supplied by Ray the Handyman!  I would have to agree.  We are going to dedicate this next meeting to finding investment property and determining alternative methods of gaining control.  Wine Wednesday just will not rest until spring.  Jennifer and I will still meet with whoever wants to come and have a glass of wine on Wednesday at 5 PM.  Bring some wine and / or treat to share.  Flip.com owned by the TV people Flip this House is rolling out a nationwide website in the next two weeks and our BREIC is the Idaho contact.   This could be huge for our members.  The opportunities are tremendous.

Well, this is it the best day of the week!  WINE WEDNESDAY.  Starts at 5:30 PM lasts about an Hour.  We begin with a White and a  Red that I pick up from Tastings and add selections brought in by guests.  You may also bring in a Hors d'oeuvres to be devoured by the attendees.  We meet on the front porch of the Firehouse.  Chairs are limited you might bring one.  It is a good time, bring a client that needs to experience a different side of society!

Great weekend.  We went to PDX to see the National Dahlia show and to see our moms.  Both are in the final phase of their lives.  Tuesday is the September General Meeting at 6 PM in the training room at Silvercreek 1099 S Wells Meridian just off the Eagle road exit of Hwy 84 west along frontage road.  If you attended last month you may attend for no charge as our main speaker did not make it.  We will try again with David Cathrae of Waterstone Mortgage.  He will set up a panel and provide incite into lending for Investors.  Kirk will present Kirk's picks and Robby will provide information on some income properties that look appetizing to him.  Ray the Handyman will have a delectable delight, pulled pork sandwiches.  That makes me hungry just thinking about it!  Below are some properties either in escrow or sold by our team.

The August General Meeting is this Tuesday the 7th at 6 PM at Silvercreek in the training room.  It should be an interesting and informative meeting.  The meeting will consist  of general introductions, a Lender Panel chaired by David Cathrae, and Kirk's Picks.  Robby will go over his favorite multi family available properties.  Ray the Handyman will have just gotten back from a trip to Washington but he has committed to providing some delectable delights that we have come to enjoy.  I have been notified that August 23rd The Muscular Dystrophy Association will attempt to "Arrest" me and put me away until we raise enough donations to make my bail.  I'm a bit concerned that I might just be left in "Jail" to rot!  Let us know if you are willing to help "Bail" me out.  I would hate to be left and alone.......................

Hello there!

What do you think about a spring open house at the Fire House?  We are working around the May 25th date in the evening.  We would ask that all the offices be open and that you invite your family, friends and clients!  You may serve tea and cookies.  In our case we will break out the bubbly.  What about 6 to 8 PM?  Our little office has some cleaning up to get done.   We will probably have Ray the Handyman prepare some delectable delights as well.  Hopefully all the offices will be open and Family, Friends,  and clients will tour the building and sample what each office has provided and best of all we might come out with some new friends.  We are bound to get some live music out of Pat or her students?

HAPPY EASTER!  My girls organized their 17th neighborhood pot luck and egg hunt.  What a fantastic day!  We saw more neighbors than we thought existed.  The Hummels walked over and 91 year Boyce Williamson was spreading his philosophy to who ever would listen.  Kathy Barrett was nice enough to let us use her driveway across from ours.  Betsy Givens a famous Boise Realtor was present with her grand child Max.  Kirk MacAllister the newest member of our team was there with the lovely Penney.  It is amazing how our lives and our working lives intermix and intertwine.  Our General Meeting went pretty well.  The first part was a webinar which was a bit difficult to hear.  We have a link to the program for anyone that missed it.  It was from AON which insures we won't have any vacant units!  Our next meeting will surely be well attended.  Wade Curtis Real Estate Attorney will discuss forms of business and the protection and maintenance of the business once it is up and running.  Bring your legal questions for Wade and pick up on some advice.  The Costco dogs were absolutely wonderful thanks to Ray the Handyman.  Sign up for the balance of the year with a Pro-rated fee.  The BREIC needs your support.

Howdy RE Investors,
 
FINALLY we got some Snow!  Cinderella and I went up to Bogus Sunday morning.  We only lasted five runs.  Old, out of shape, fat and heavy icy snow.  Is it too much to ask to groom an access run like War Eagle to get to the new chair 3?  How about grooming a few more so people will actually ski there?  Groom them and they will come.  There are plenty of people like me with PD that for some reason want to ski groomers!  It was fun twisting sticks anyway and thanks to my wife for putting up with me.  Gregg Ostrow is taking some of us challenged skiers up Wednesday to ski in the AM.  If you want to join our "distinguished" group meet at the bottom of chair 1 at 10 AM.  Let me know you will be there.  We will have to tap Cindy Woyak to speak to us in the future.  She is a wonderful speaker and she didn't let our out of control members rattle her!  I think she actually enjoyed it.  Demand is definitely picking up.  We are getting several inquiries every day.  Our next meeting February 7th will be a good one.  It is dedicated to assist the investor in the search for money.  Don't miss it.  Ray the Handyman will also be serving a delectable delight to tickle your taste buds and fill you up.

BREIC Mike Dietz Sales Team news & picks 1-9-12


Hey RE Investors,
 
We had an interesting week end, less the normal skiing two hours Sat and Sun morning, up by 9 AM Down by 1 PM.   Everyone get together and "THINK SNOW".  Make an old fat guy with PD a happy camper. 
 
 Our General Meeting on Tuesday went pretty well.  Cindy Woyak Broker for Silvercreek Real Estate Group was our featured speaker.  She was wonderful, talking about making a business plan and reviewing and tweaking it periodically.  It was also brought up that certain Investors mostly students of Greg Pineo would like direct access one on one with MLS Listed property Sellers.  The reasons Sellers list with a Realtor are many but primarily for the negotiating and sales skills that their Realtor possesses.  Most Sellers do not want direct contact with prospective Buyers.  A Win-Win transaction is what we all should strive to achieve.  If you want to be a successful Investor and negotiate with Sellers take a different path.  Develop your own Seller leads, negotiate on neutral ground, and construct an offer that fits both your needs and those of the Seller.  As a Realtor I have no problem asking the Listing Agent to allow a Buyer to present an offer directly to the Seller.  If I represented the Seller I would advise him/her to not get in an uncomfortable position that they are not experienced in.  I would have a duty to the Seller to insolate them and act as a buffer.  So if you are an Investor that wants direct access to Buyers through a MLS Listed property, ask your Realtor (hopefully from our team) to put it together and you prepare to compromise on access, time, location, and attendees.  If you insist on one on one direct negotiation develop your own marketing plan, stay ahead of agency law, and always put together Win-Win deals.  A Realtor is on your side weather you are a Buyer or a Seller!  As a Realtor I am not the enemy of Investors.  Perhaps Real Estate Agents could be seen as the grease that keeps the wheels spinning.  We can return to this subject at the next meeting if desired.
