BREIC Is Making A Comeback!

Hello BREIC Members!

We want you to know that we are relaunching the Boise Real Estate Investing Club! After much thoughtful discussion with Mike and careful consideration, I, Lisa Kohl and Cameron Williams have chosen to take part in to helping BREIC rise to the next level.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to you for our relaunch meeting Tuesday, October 6^th at 6:30pm. Our new meeting venue will be Silvercreek Realty Group located at 1099 S. Wells St, Ste 200, Meridian, ID 83642. As some of you will remember this is one of the previous locations that past BREIC meetings were held and we feel this will make for a great spot for this and future monthly meetings! We are keeping the monthly meetings the same- on the 1^st Tuesday of every month with a new start time of 6:30-8:30pm so mark your calendars.

While we will not have a formal speaker for this upcoming meeting- our goal is to meet and be able to have the chance to connect with each and every one of you! We are firm believers that it’s longstanding members such as yourselves that help power a group. Also we would like the chance to find out what speakers and topics that members want to hear about for future meetings. 

So what to expect with the new Boise Real Estate Investment Club? Our future plans will be a combination of key speakers & topics pertinent to the Multi Family, Residential and Commercial real estate investor. 

Whether you’ve been attending BREIC meetings on a regular basis or maybe it’s been some time since your last meeting, we look forward to seeing and meeting everyone! Small bites and water/soda will be provided. The $10 door fee will be waived for October’s meeting. In an effort to help promote Boise Real Estate Investment Club and to help us get some of the best speakers out there to present at future meetings- we will begin charging in November. Lisa Kohl-

I have had the opportunity to be able to meet with a lot of you over the last year and a half I have been attending BREIC’s meetings. If you remember me, I was the one delivering the Boise Real Estate Market stats at the beginning of our meetings!

My investing experience includes flipping houses here in Boise over the last four years and acting as the general contractor on all my projects. Also, I am a licensed real estate agent in the community. It is with great honor that I am able to take on a leadership role within the BREIC community and look forward to all the future has to offer with this great group!

Cameron Williams-

I have been actively involved in Real Estate investing since 2000. I have purchased all types of property including Single Family and Multi-family nationwide. As a Realtor, I have also help many investors with buying and selling investment properties.

I look forward to this great opportunity of being able to connect with other like-minded local investors within the Boise Real Estate Investing Club who have and share the same real estate investing goals.

BREIC SO LONG!!!!

After almost 15 years I'm going to call it quits with the BREIC.  I'm not going to have the September Pot Luck.  If some people want to meet at the Refuge in Park Center that would be great.  It has been great over the years meeting all of you.  If someone wants to take over let me know.  There is another group that formed in Boise.  You might want to jump on it.  Thanks again

Summertime lovin it BREIC

So far this is a fantastic summer!  In September we will have a wine and poo poo get together.  We will decide if we are going to maintain the monthly BREIC meetings.  I do like to see everyone monthly and it does give me an excuse to call and remind you of the meeting. 

A neat opportunity has come up.  A Short sale that we have had going for two years now has a lender approved letter.  In my opinion there is money to be made on this property.  The Lender approved amount is $121,000.  Comps show it coming in at $165,000+  With cosmetic repairs. If you were able to get it you would need cash and to be able to close before the 7th.  If you are interested  give me a call.

Summer off!!!! BREIC

Hello there,

Unless someone has an objection we are planning on taking the summer off, June July and August.  We will return in September.  We will kick off September with a pot luck and adult beverage.  Sounds good already.
My cabin in McCall is just about done.  It will be fantastic.  Foundation and utilities going in then they will slide the house on and Wallah!  We have a house.  See you in September.  It has been a big year for the Dietz family.

BREIC General Meeting tonight

Meeting tonight at 6 PM  913 River St Ste 100  Stewart Title  9th and River  Same building as Cotton Wood Grill  West side of building.  This is a  very special meeting.  Dale Voris  Money manager will present and explain the changes that have been recently put into place for Lenders and the limitations put on them in lending their own money!  Doesn't quite seem fair. 

On the personal side I am functioning just fine after brain surgery for Parkinson's.  I seem to get super tired but I don't get the shakes or involuntary movements or friezes.   Life is pretty good right now.    Hope to see you at the meeting.

BREIC Monthly General Meeting

Things have been pretty emotional around the Dietz Homestead.  It is not everyday that we have a surgeon invade our innermost private space.  And from this time forward my movements will be recorded by a little pacesetter like device packed neatly under my skin very conveniently  on my chest!  Everyone I have talked to has indicated it is a life changing event.  I just want to walk, have some balance not look like I'm swimming when I'm sitting still.  It doesn't seem like too much to ask .  WE are almost at the end of the road.   One more meeting with the surgen and then Dr Morgan  and I get personal!  Now you know It all.
